Burundian Diaspora in Germany eV is a non-profit, denominational and politically independent association with the aim of :

Promoting an international spirit and fostering tolerance: This goal means that the association aims to create an environment where people from different backgrounds and cultures can come together to share their experiences and learn from one another. By promoting an international spirit and fostering tolerance, the association hopes to encourage a more inclusive and accepting society.
Promoting Burundian culture and the idea of international understanding: This goal means that the association wants to raise awareness and appreciation for Burundian culture among the wider community. By doing so, they hope to foster greater understanding and respect between people of different cultures, and encourage cross-cultural exchange and learning.
Organizing meetings and cultural events to share information and ideas: This goal means that the association plans to hold events and meetings where members and the wider community can come together to exchange ideas, learn new things, and build relationships. These events might include cultural festivals, workshops, seminars, and social gatherings.
Supporting the integration of Burundians living in Germany: This goal means that the association wants to help Burundians who are living in Germany to integrate into the local community. This might involve providing information and support on things like language learning, employment, and housing, as well as connecting new arrivals with existing community members who can help them settle in
Implementing and supporting development projects in Burundi: This goal means that the association aims to contribute to the development of Burundi by implementing and supporting projects that address the country's social, economic, and environmental challenges. These projects might include initiatives related to healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and environmental sustainability.
